Controller Settings Pcsx2?
hey guys was just really keen to play some kingdom hearts and the settings are all weird when i try to configure them so i was wondering if any of you guys could post up some settings for the controller config
maybe a screenshot or something i would appreciate it sooo much and im sure other people will aswell(other noobs like me)thanks in advance

I think you are using a pad and Lilypad 0.10 in this case you have to define the controls for pad 1 clicking the buttons in the right part of the panel you have to define all the buttons and the two sticks and if you have a pad with force feedback the big motor and small motor effcts.

yeah im using some cheap ps2 looking controller so i use lily pad 2 & i know all of what you just posted like i know how to define the buttons but theres something about the right and left joystick its weird a screen shot would help me alot tho because if i assign the right analog stick when i move it will either be opposite to what the normal controls are or they are just weird

When you have the pad configurated to move perfect the y + is left stick down ;y- left stick up ; x+ left sick right and x- left stick left and for the rotation z+ right stick down;rotation z- right stick up; eje z+ right stick right and eje z- right stick left

Try with 4891 beta (http://www.emucr.com/2011/08/pcsx2-svn-r4894.html) and lilipad 0.10.0 (r3993) or the latest ones r5100s betas (you can download the lates here )http://pcsx2.net/svn.php

Yes, you can. Just download the latest SVN from the above link^beta r1888 i dont think the other ones run kingdom hearts
and make sure to turn your analog ON before mapping it.

wait im abit confused XD why do i need an SVN and what is it used for also i tried using kh on pcsx2 version 2000 and above it didnt work and i had heaps of issues
Yeah.
Latest SVN provides better and more recent build of plugins to be used with the emulator, thus making it more compatible to run games that have problematic issues on previous builds.
and you can't just use latest plugins on the old version of the emulator, that would make it unstable and may cause another problem.
Can you explain why it didn't work? crashes? black screen? freeze?

it just froze heaps and it kept getting black screens so when i used r1888 it worked fine with no issues just the occasional lag every now and then

What plugins and revisions are you using video ,sound etc the pal spanish version works fine in 4891 with gsdx 5102 dx10 and spu2-x r 4872 2.0.0
