Sad thing what happened... never was a member, but it's always bad to see a site you like go down.

Let's hope that EP stays forever (yes, some might think that sounds excessive, but we all need a place were we can find and get all these old videogames that would otherwise be forgotten as time goes on and be lost forever, seen as game companies only care for recent stuff and more sales).

Right? If it was not for game emulation I would have never played
the games from my childhood, and remember a lot of memories that
come with them. Afterall, material stuff always ends up "dead".
(Unlike digital... and spiritual! )

And the companies... money, etc. So, a big yeah.

But this place is so nice, I hope they always leave at last the forum untouched.

It's done. The former place known as the Trade Zone is officially done for. It's not coming back, since there is no need for it anymore. Since it's being hosted on NitroRoms server, I can assume that's why it was done.

They could upload a backup in torrent format. I think lots of people would be happy to seed something like that. Although a large part of it was gone with MU, I believe there were still some gems there that people would want. I tried to archive it while it was brought back up, but the application I used didn't support CGI forms (although it said it does )

That would be nice, but I don't think anyone there would even consider doing anything like that. It's a damn shame too.
