They already made too many mistakes with previous Batman movies, they needed this new trilogy, or whatever it's going to be, to be more serious and darker. Will be hard to mix this Bats with other DC heroes for that eventual Justice League movie the've been wanting to make for years now.

I forgot another recent awesome comics game, Lego Batman

What I'd like to see: Marvel vs DC, the one vs one fighting game (please Ono, get to it! ) and more multiplayer beat 'em ups based on relevant story arcs.

The intention behind the batman movies seems to be to make a good movie that happens to be based on a comic book to get comic books taken more seriously. Also Guillermo Del Toro said something brilliant about video games: ""video games are the comic books of our time... It's a medium that gains no respect among the intelligentsia" I didn't know they were making a justice league movie, I only knew about the avengers when it is coming out although there seems to be more comic book movies now than ever.

Never played a lego game, don't know if I will bother, I did play the spiderman game for the PSX years ago though, I had fun with it.

That sounds good, I would like a release of Marvel V DC.

Already finished LA Noire. My options are any game that ever came out on Xbox 360. Don't fancy Mass Effect though.

You like sandbox games and any form of RPGs are not an option...

Vanquish is short but quite enjoyable.

I remember playing that for a bit. It went something like, jump, die, jump, die, jump, die.

They've frequently showed interest (and why not, it's a dream project for any movie guy slash comic fan). It's currently hitting them where it hurts that Marvel beat them to the punch with the considerably less popular Avengers. DC's problem is they frequently flub up the smaller scale single-hero movies. Trying to have all these wildly different characters come together in a massive budget movie is just an inevitable trainwreck. It gets worse when the they seem to have a pretty bad tone problem. Some of the movies go way too light for the source material, others try to make it overly dark. Which I think was the problem with their latest "sorta kinda maybe we're doing Justice League" series of movies. What you're left with is the possibility of a crossover where the rather unpleasant Baleman complete with chainsmoker voice chats up several bad CG covered JL members and one of the cornier versions of Superman. Granted, they can possibly make it work if they play up the comedy aspect a lot and don't try to take it too seriously. But everyone knows comic book movies have to be SUPR SRS. All the time. Even when the character is known to not be a chronic whiner.

Comic books are what they are, it's kinda silly to consider them transcendent or what they aren't it's true that the Batman character has a certain halo that makes certain people get interested in it and not in other comic characters. That's why I think the movies based on him work with less effort.

I think I'll go watch Ghost Rider next week, gotta support Marvel no matter what Nick Cage did this time to ruin it

Comic books are what they are, it's kinda silly to consider them transcendent or what they aren't it's true that the Batman character has a certain halo that makes certain people get interested in it and not in other comic characters. That's why I think the movies based on him work with less effort.

Most likely, yes. Seems not everyone appreciated the changes in U3's MP. For which I cannot blame them.
