I can't comment on Crysis 2, since I haven't played it, but I played the first one, and I didn't enjoy it. Even if I can only kind of get into a game (take Resident Evil 5, for example), I'll usually stick it out until I'm much farther into the game and have access to a few more weapons/upgrades/etc before giving it my final judgement. If C2 is anything like the first Crysis, I think I only made it to the second level before becoming bored as shit with it.
That being said, they are different games, so take that for what it's worth. And I'm not a huge FPS fan, so that kind of hinders my opinion of it as well.

I have a really cheap one that I bought online for like... $10. It works okay, but one day I'm going to invest in one that gives me a lot higher quality and doesn't desync the audio after fifteen minutes when I record. If I was just using it to convert my laptop into a TV so I could play consoles on the screen, then mine works fine, just the quality is piss-poor.
Still, I got what I paid for. Which, admittedly, wasn't much.
