You need to exercise more Dan if you're that tired from moving around.

Moving around!? That was excruciating. I had to carry so much junk up and down the stairs all day long. And I'm not that big a fan of stairs as it is.

I wasn't being paid for it. If there was a wage involved it would be a different story.

Post apocalyptic Washington D.C. is a better setting than Las Vegas. I've been to Las Vegas, it's neat and all where the casinos are but I prefer Washington D.C. as an apocalypticized nuclear wasteland.

Well, any day of physical labour is tough after you haven't had a job for a couple of years. It's like the first time you go to the gym... your muscles ache because you just don't use them strenuously in your day to day life. I remember the first few days at my job were pretty excruciating, pushing huge machines around so I could clean behind them and whatnot. After washing 90+ tubs every night for a week, I thought my shoulder was going to fall off. It does get better once you become more accustom to it.

It does suck that you couldn't stick it out for longer than a day, but not every job is for everyone. Still, though, I would have at least tried to stick it out for a week. Working with disabled people is hard, agreed, but it's not going to reflect very well on you when trying to find a job in the future that you quit after one day. I spent a year working at an old folks home just to get enough experience to find a somewhat better job somewhere else. Really the final push for having me leave there was having someone I was serving have a stroke right in front of me, then watching another one vomit prunes down their front later in the same shift during a seizure or something. I finally had enough at that point.

That's just me, though. To each their own -- hope everything works out for you.

I thought I quoted all of the cereal posts, but apparently this is the only one that I actually hit the button on.

Am I the only person who eats cereal that isn't coated in sugar? Can't stand that shit...

Someone was decapitated on a Greyhound just outside of Winnipeg back in 2008. Really sketched me out when I was heading out to cutting school last year, with my knives stored in my duffel bag. I thought they were going to pull me aside and start questioning me.

What he said. It took a while for my body to adapt to lifting huge loads for 10 hour+ shifts. Which left me unable to do anything outside work/the next day. Afterwards I just shrugged it off.

That's what the milk is for, silly. It greatly decreases the amount of sugar. But it still has that nice lingering sweetness. Deliciousness^10.

I just don't like sugar that much. I usually by Fiber One, Honey Bunches of Oats (which is about as sweet as I like) or some cheap, store-brand ripoff of the two (depending how cheap I am that paycheque). There's still sugar and sweetness to them, just not nearly as much.

    Also, there's a reason I don't like taking a Greyhound anymore.
