Yes you do. Even the base stats of the +0 upgraded pyromancy flame from the chaos witch are better than the +15 regular version. And it tops out at +5 so you're already most of the way to a maxed pyromancy flame.Originally Posted by Milady

Which reminds me, do I want to upgrade my pyromancy flame past +15? I vaguely remember something about intelligence scaling, but I have no intelligence anyway. And at this point I'm almost finished with my first run of the game, the souls could probably be better spent in some other manner.
Like increasing my endurance, so I can wear Havel's leg armor. Because those hoof things are awesome.
Even that tiny bit of intelligence will have mattered when the scaling goes from B to A or S. Or at least it should, depending on how the scaling has been changed since I played last.
