Well here's something that will help for normal driving and hinder in rally and other motorsports:
Keep your heel on the floor, and only use your ankle and toes to press the gas. Use the whole foot/leg to use the brake. You have limited strength in the muscles of your lower leg when it comes to a stationary push downward. It will be VERY difficult to be heavy on the gass like this.
