Couldn't get into the GTA games, and I tend to stay away from "gangster" games in general. They just don't interest me.
I think Inferno kept trying to get me to play Mafia II...

I'm turned off by the gangster thing as well. I'm only playing GTAIII because I have it on my phone, but Mafia II is genuinely bad ass. It isn't really gangster, but it has a great theme to it.

Maybe I'll give it a shot one day. Still have to go through Bioshock 2, Modern Warfare 3, Duke Nukem Forever (when it gets here)... and I kind of want to go back and finish Littlebigplanet and Black Ops, but not really.

Nah, it IS gangster.

It's a linear game that ends too quickly but has an awesome story. I dislike the lack of side missions and not having a chance of actual freeplay, but it's a damn good game nevertheless.

The sections after the location shift kind of annoyed me.

And everything after that is a bit too easy thanks to coming out of there overpowered as fuck.

But on the whole it's pretty cool.

And super cheap nowadays.
