Last Christmas, got myself a 5670 and has been running everything I throw at it just fine, mind you, at 1366x768 max and sometimes reducing some quality, but feels and looks better than the console any day.

Ugh, at this rate I'll just drop the Battlefield 3 campaign, that jet mission is god awful.

And deleted Black Ops, it's complete bullshit that I'm able to run MW3, Battlefield 3 and even fucking Crysis 2 and that one stutters a lot.

When it's like that as they say in Italy:"Kick them in the ass. It means that you should ditch them, ignore them. Don't give them rides at all, if you see the usual friends that'll call you just for the rides, just ingore them calls. Or if you have to answer and they'll ask you for the ride just say that you're busy or something alone the lines.
Trust me, it's better being without them rather that being depressed with them. Get your dignity back.

Pretty much my plan, in the long run. Although they do introduce me to some somewhat interesting people. A couple of them even have their own vehicles. So I'm just waiting to meet someone that actually enjoys hanging out with me via them, then I'll kick 'em to the curb.

Or wait for the core member of the group to move south like she's talking about doing, then it'll all just fall apart anyways.

Eventually you'll get tired of driving. I know I do.

I still enjoy driving, but it's definitely lost its appeal. Most of the time I get in my car, zone out, and next thing I know I'm at work/the store without a single clue how I got there.

Spring is the best season.

It's still pretty cool out and typically doesn't get "fuck you" hot or "holy shit I can't feel my face" cold and it doesn't rain for days at a time like in fall.

The winters here aren't too bad -- kind of chilly and rains a lot, but we only get about two snowfalls a year, average. And they usually only last a couple of days at most. Spring and Fall are usually quite nice -- sits around 15* most of the time. The summer can feel a bit harsh just because of the humidity, but I'm right on the ocean, so that kind of manages the temperature a little bit. Rarely gets up into the 30s.

I also haven't seen temperatures below -10 since I moved here ten years ago.

A lot of people I know are converting from consoles and building PCs. It's glorious!

A couple of hours of Origins on console, but felt confusing and slow and dropped it, PC controls are million times better.

Oh, and as for The Witcher 2. Go to my EP blog, read those 134689567247 words I typed about the game, problem solved.

...but in a nutshell (because I don't actually expect you to read all that), it's good, though not outstanding, and there are a few things that I felt were better in the first game. Overall it's very much worth playing, but the "10/10 best RPG ever" claims are exaggerated. I mean, I love the game, but let's be real.
