My dad gave me unofficial driving lessons in an empty area a year or two ago, the first time I applied the brakes I jammed on them rather than gently applying them causing the car to jerk.

The pedals are way more sensitive than you would ever imagine without driving a car first hand.

Tuesday - 12:00, come at me.

I'm glad I didn't have a 2 hour first lesson though, was a lot to take in.

As far as wikias are concerned, TvTropes is much worse for keeping crap. (Mildly NSFW)

Actually I'd say I did about a half an hour's worth of driving. Rather than the 10 minutes everyone was expecting.

I forgot I haven't got a tie so I've had to ask my Grandad for a lift to Asda so I can get a new shirt (collar's too tight) and a tie.

Possibly some shoes too, since I have money.

Not that I need to look up some stuff on Wikipedia.

So much for that blackout, guys.
Dammit, Gare beat me to it.

Depends on the car. My car's breaks aren't all that sensitive, but driving my parent's car is pretty insane. Just apply the tiniest bit of pressure and the whole thing just stops.

Driving lessons aside, check retro. I need interview advice now.

Next driving lesson is on Tuesday, I'll come back to talking about driving on Monday.

    I really want this job!

Wow, that is just the same for me with my dad's car!

I had an old Citroen for some four years now (which I already sold past month... ) and it had a really "smooth" pedal.
And by "smooth" I mean you could push your foot almost to the end before it really started to "brake"...

But driving my dad's car is scary, it makes me want to go 30 km/h all the way not to touch that brake pedal...
(It is a Fiat, by the way, like the one I took the license. )

I'm learning in a Peugeot 206. I can see myself buying one once I've passed my test as well, since they're affordable and quite stylish.

Cars and jobs depress me. This is why I can never talk to you people these days.
