I'll be hating on people on job seekers allowance as well when I'm having to pay income tax. But for some people unemployment can't really be helped. There are a lot of chavs that take the piss though.

Yeah programs like that when used correctly are legitimately good and helpful. The problem is addicts abuse the system.

I'll admit I felt like for a while I was never going to get a job, and as a result was rather depressed.

But fuck it, I'm more than capable of working in a shop or whatever. I'll never stop applying. Plus, I have this silly work experience to do/write on my CV.
