some buy it for the status, but i think a lot more people buy it because the interface is so intuitive.

Those are awful prices for desktops.
They're expensive for what they are, but when you've used one for a few weeks and try to go back to Windows or Linux the cost doesn't seem to matter as much. I've never had as much fun using a computer as I do with my Macs. They're just really pleasant to use.

I think their laptops are a better buy anyway. When you start to look at higher end or business class machines by other companies the specs aren't all that different and the prices start to make more sense.

Just looked into car insurance online.

    1.2 litre Fiesta from 2002 - £3800 a year third party only.
    1.1 litre Peugeot 106 Independence - £3200 a year third party only.

    Ouch.

haha, apple's just expensive. I like their products, but they're expensive.
Laptops are just expensive new. The desktops on the other hand are simply a rip-off.

I got a Mac laptop for free from a friend a few years ago and I wasn't impressed. Business laptop pricing shouldn't be compared to desktop pricing, it's a different market entirely.

I used to be all out of whack but I've had a good sleep cycle for a couple of years now.
