Anyway, I can hardly get into anything newer (series-wise) that isn't mecha and even then it can't compare to most of the old stuff. I don't know how to feel but I'm hoping that Space Battleship Yamato 2199: 1st Chapter and the successive releases will blow me away. Right now I'm not seeing how they could disappoint.
