I'm not really liking how FIFA plays in PC. Not sure what, but something feels off.

I wouldn't mind a decent desktop PC actually, probably just to pick up the odd excellent game from Steam when it's on sale.

I know that if I got a half decent PC I can get my uncle's old 5770 for next to nothing.

I think that one is better than a 5670, which is the one I got. I'm being able to run Skyrim with everything in High and BF3 with Medium-High and some fancy shit, I think you would manage just fine as long you're not doing 1920x1080 or something.

I think the 5770 would probably run games like that at 1920x1080 with a decent CPU. I have no idea why he was convinced he needed to upgrade.

So, Alice: Madness Returns is 75% off on Steam. USA price: $7.50. EU price: €12.50 (roughly 16 bucks).

lolwut. Who did the math for this one?

The same people that price all downloadable games on PS3/360?

    £19.99 / $19.99 / €19.99

How the fuck does that work? Stupid Americans getting games cheap.

I recall the good days when the USD was cheap and MSP cards were 14-15. Dollars.

Those lasted like two years until the goddamned recession of 2008 when USD rocketed and they sold them at actual twenty dollars.

Hey, it's six dollars, I know, but when the 4500 cards where 12-15 dollars off it was nice.
