Default [Request-Help] PSP firmware update suggestions

Its been quite some time since I hacked my PSP. I think the current firmware I have is something like "Prometheus 5.50 Gen-D3 (final)".

Anyways, I want to play Monster Hunters 3rd Portable with the english patch, but I need a later firmware. Since I need to update my firmware, I might as well get the best firmware to date. That said, what is the current best firmware for the PSP?

I am looking for one that has great compatability, allows one to use the latest plugins, and also allows you to play ISO/CSO files without patching them.
    Suggestions?

I've recently upgraded to 6.60 ME. Works great. The latest posploader to go with it is v4e.

PRO and ME are the latest CFW available for now, where both offer great games compatibility, as well with lots of plugins support.
