I did the same thing, but with a dark elf, eventually your sneak gets so high that all you need is the dagger.

Great game though yeah. After I maxed out one handed I started being a sneaky archer jew, not as action packed but still a great deal of satisfaction in killing a room full of people just as the last guy realises there is someone killing his mates.
