    Salad cream is fine.
I probably wouldn't have touched the salad cream if I noticed the date before I poured it all over my bread. I don't make a habit of eating things that are out of date.

Nothing in our fridge sees the expiration date because it's consumed too quickly but if something passes the expiration date and smells fine I'll eat it.

I go through phases of having certain things loads, then I don't touch it again for months. I mainly only eat salad cream in summer, so obviously the bottle had been laying round in the fridge for a while since I last had some.

We have a couple of bottles of garlic mayonnaise from when I was obsessed with garlic and chips, I doubt I'll ever touch that shit again.

I tried out WRC 2 for 360. Wow, it's pretty bad. There is potential there, it could've been a good game if the game was more polished.

So I was thinking to myself after playing on cockatrice, "heh, I think I could win why don't I get back into magic".

*looks at price it would cost to build deck buying singles*

    *closes the window*

This game has always interested me. My former brother-in-law was deep into it years ago, to the extent of winning thousands of dollars at the various tournaments.
He wanted me to learn, and tried teaching me several times, in vain. There are two women in the next building over that hold games on the regular, maybe I'll give it another go.... (My wife is convinced that they are lesbians, I always assumed that they were 'long-time roomates'...heh...)

...Just dawned on me: I have a CRATE of these cards in storage, somewhere. I remember having several long-boxes filled, and quite a few sealed packs...."Urzo" something-or-other.....
They are shit-cheap around here, to boot.

Goooooooooooooooooood morning, folks. No work/responsibilities today....time for video game/toy shopping, few drinks at the pool hall, and the Chinese buffet.

I tried playing with them Pokemon cards. Got bored after 2 weeks and my brother wanted to convince me to play it. Still have the cards somewhere.

    Huehuehue.

As for the game itself, it only takes a little bit to learn. The rules and structure and generally simple especially compared to something like legend of the five rings.

And yeah you could probably make a fair amount just selling the sealed packs. You can usually find cheap cards but to be competitive in any official tournament it's gonna cost. A standard deck would run over $250 easy for a good one. Older formats are absolutely brutal. My favourite format is legacy and from what I've gathered the minimum for this is about $1200. However a lot of the cost with old formats like that are the old lands that EVERYONE uses in their deck. Once you have those you have a core and can finish a deck for much less.

It's fairly addicting. I was in it for a long time and then cashed out, then came back in two or three other times but not for nearly as long.
