GODDAMMIT INFERNO. You have to learn how to do that shit. You can't just stick it on your face and hope for the best. You have to use a lubricant like Lectric Shave or some sort of light oil. YOu have to make the skin you're going over taut. You have to make sure the skin is clean and most. You have to make sure the razor is clean and with sharp blades and well oiled.

GODDAMMIT.

... Well I wasn't told any of this, hence why I'd rather wet shave.

I have never tried to shave with an electric razor, I've always used just a traditional razor. Although I do remember the first time I shaved with a straight razor, I've never lost so much blood in my life.

I won't use a straight razor. They scare me. I shave only in the shower. No gel or cream or anything. Just water and a Gilette ProGlide. Shave my head, face, and crotch. Haven't shaved my head in a week or two, though.
