I may have been making too broad a generalization; as I have really only noticed some distortion in GT and Crazy Taxi on the PSP. For the most part I am enjoying games much more now that I'm going back to school. It seems to have built up my mental endurance a bit. For many years I had become so aloof that I would try to switch to a different game after the first level; never willing to give any title the time it deserves.

Yeah. With Skyrim, the world is so huge that there's bound to be some things they'll overlook in the end. Or many things.

I know it can be be kind of hard to just stick with one game and not long for something different. Especially with some of the longer RPGs I tend to play. Not sure if school has anything to do with it, but you sure need endurance to get through an 80-hour-long adventure.

What kind of card are you getting?

A 4670. Wish I could afford a 5670, but I have been in a tight budget recently.

Will be enough to run my shit at 1360x768 since that's my monitor's resolution anyway.

Recently picked up a monitor for the other computer without realizing it was like 18x9", and that's the max resolution . As soon as the 6850 drops to something cheap, I'm moving up to that . I suppose I'll need to make sure the power supply can handle it too.
