Google up HP G60 or DV9000
the G60 and DV line have huge thermal flaws that advanced users have had to sort by modding our laptop casings for additional vents and replacing the "thermal pad" nvidia told em to use on the GPU that instead of transfers heat to the cooler... it insulates it >.< so the best cure is to remove the thermal insulating pad and replace it with a shim and a tiny bit of high quality thermal paste on both sides and add some vent holes, even me myself have modded my G60's casing adding some additional vent holes and it made a hell of a change even without the shim
Edit: add on top that HP didnt design the cooler well too dust has a nice place to hide where theres like a dead spot in the airflow in a corner of the cooler to an already hot laptop adding that makes em time bombs really to fail
