I had to Google what SRPG stood for. And you know, I'm quite proud of that fact

Right after I posted this, I found out that we're having spaghetti and garlic bread instead of turkey bone soup.

I'm over halfway done with LA Noire, and I have only fired my weapon a few times.
You'd think a cop game would have more shootan.

I assume you bone the turkey before you make the soup?
    Probably salty...

I'm pretty sure you cook the meat on the bone, then remove the bone when it's done, but I'm not sure.
    Spaghetti is my favorite meal.

    Opinions, please....

We have decided to go with PS3 as our 'next gen' system, as a mutual gift to each other, due to our love of the PSX and PS2. I have a (barely) used system lined-up, and I am needing to know which games are the best of the best. I set aside $300 for this venture, and after the PS3, there will be close to $200 remaining for games. Most of the pawn shops sell PS3 games for $10, give or take. Neither of us has any real knowledge when it comes to this systems' library, the most recent games we have been playing are for the DS and PS2. All of our PS2 games will play nicely on the PS3, yes?
I favor Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Castlevania, platformers, and Zelda-esque games. I also had a love affair with horror-type FPSs like Doom and Killing Time. My wife is into the puzzle-types, but also is obsessed with God of War, Mario, Golden Sun, and Kingdom Heart.

The selection around here is vast; more than 20 new/used retailers and shops within a few miles.

Which games am I picking up?

    Thanks in advance......

Depends on the PS3 for the PS2 games, if it's one of the first kinds, it can play PS2, otherwise, no.
Uncharted is a good series, and for your wife, I would recommend Eternal Sonata and the Tales of series (Xillia and Graces F I think are on it.)
