I want to learn japanese only for playing the saturn version.

I own the Saturn version, but it doesn't work properly on my PAL Saturn. The movies are all messed up, and it often halts up when you try and enter the world map. I've played it in Japanese on the Playstation, though.

Probably because it needs 60hz TV. I wish I had a Jap Saturn.
That or I hope I can find a cheap modchip for a American one.

I have a 60Hz TV. It's the 60Hz console that's the problem. :'D Even if you use a cart for playing import games, it forces every game to display at 50Hz, and that causes problems with certain games. :/ Might buy a Japanese Saturn during my year abroad next year, though. I really like the console.
