Honestly, since I only have Dallas twice a week, he isn't that big of a hindrance on how quickly I can finish games. Although I would have had this finished yesterday if I hadn't been taking care of him (I don't usually play games when he's over). Otherwise... I really don't do anything else other than play games, occasionally hang out with a couple of friends, and hang out on EP. And I can hang out on EP and play games at the same time.

Just checked their forums, it seems there has been a few problems.

Lots of text skipping, or so I hear. I think a guide is also involved .

Pfft, guides make games take longer, as they clue you in on tons of pointless sidequests that you then feel obliged to do.

Dear Ni no Kuni PS3, you are very pretty. Can I buy you as a Christmas present to myself?

Kind of. I didn't text skip the story, and probably only skipped about... 20% of the side event stuffs. And I've only been using a monster list to ensure that I don't skip any missable monsters to add to the bestiary. Beyond that... you don't really need a guide for this game unless you want to 100% in the shortest possible time. I'm going to be using one to help with recruiting the goddesses (which I'm on right now) just to make my life a bit easier.

Honestly, this game wasn't one where I would have required a guide. And I usually don't use one unless I'm really stuck in a game. Takes away from all of the fun.

I seek out everything in the game anyway. Occasionally consulting a guide just decreases my wandering.

And some sidequests have a point. Nier had the greatest sidequest ever.

Way to go hero. You just ruined the lives of hundreds of people in several different cities simply because you tried to do the right thing.

Of course, no one else played that sidequest.

    Trophy whores.

I wish to know how it is.

Your input would be highly valued.

Not that it matters, I'd likely pick it up at some point anyway.

    NEED MOAR DECENT RPGS.

I would totally go back and finish all of the Nier sidequests, if it wasn't for the deleted save file.

I generally dislike playing with them, unless I encounter some annoying puzzle I don't feel like solving. Working Designs guides on the other hand...

The graphics look good, almost like anime at some points .

I was razzing you for fun. On a serious note, I think trophy play sucks the fun out of some things.

It's Level 5, and they have a semi-good track record with me. Also Ghibli, and all the visual and aural majesty that comes with that. The last time Joe Hisaishi did an RPG soundtrack, it yielded some very delicious tunes indeed~

Of course I also want Final Fantasy XIII-2 because I'm one of the XIII people who actually enjoyed the original game. Also because knight Lightning is so dreamy. DECISIONS.

Some things, yes. However, with the amount that I had paid for some games that have the shortest story mode ever (and I'm not much of an online multiplayer person), being able to trophy hunt has at least given me the feeling that I've gotten my money's worth out of a game.
