Final Fantasy XIII. I...have no idea why.

Well, at any rate, it's not bad so far, per se, but it's not really engaging, and the battles seem a little..."floaty", I suppose. There's not really a sense of connection I'm feeling, and I really didn't miss ATB. I'm not really that impressed with anything except the graphics, and frankly, a pretty wrapper isn't enough. Well, I'm maybe an hour and a single chapter in, so there's plenty of room to wait and see, but this plus hearing others' opinions is a little...
Also, amusement is running into two store clerks before purchase, and being warned by two store clerks, whose job you'd normally expect to be to make the sale, that the game isn't really that good at all.

I'm waiting until Versus, if it ever comes out, or XV, until I play another FF game.

Picked up Ninja Gaiden II (NES) and Star Fox 64 (N64) off a buddy that's selling a bunch of his old games before he moves into a smaller place. Got 'em both for $10. I'm happy, even if I'll probably never play them.

Motorstorm: Pacific Rift (pretty much got this free, bought a wiimote and there was a 20% discount if bought something else with it, picked up the game, total cost ended up less than the 'mote on its own).

Picked up Disgaea 4, also bought Breath of Fire III and Alundra pretty cheap and in great condition on ebay. Now to live off of £20 for a week and a half.

Bought Outland, Crysis, and Beyond Good & Evil yesterday. Also "obtained" Mass Effect 2 and Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty.
I probably won't need to buy a new game for a while now. Thank God.

For myself, I just got Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom, and will be getting Skyward Sword on the Friday before release, already put my order through.

Cool. I did get Skyrim, but meh, it isn't that great. Or good.
