I've obviously learned from my mistakes. I also never pressure anyone into paying as a gift, ever. It's fishy when they try and make you do it.

I didn't even know that kind of shit went on through e-bay. I read up on paypal policies before joining a trade board. Gifted paypal is only fine if the selling side is willing to wait for the money (usually only happens for new traders), which is dangerous for their side. Trade boards can get messy with scammers.

I'm weary as fuck about trading with people. I've only done it once so far I believe. And it was for something worth £10 or so each way. I wouldn't swap a PS3 for a 360 or something...

Fair play. I only really do purchases or sales on there, just another outlet but I think I've done an actual trade 2-3 times.

I swaped a 360 for a wii, did it on gumtree. GUmtree is awesome because you have to do it face to face.

I'm very selective about who I buy things off online these days as well. I prefer to go through eBay.

I don't mind selling things to anyone though as long as they pay up.

Friend of mine just paid 68 euro for the mgs collection because he didn't wanna wait until February.
