Also, still in a great mood, been so ever since I was moved back to day shift at work. I just despise night-shifts, waitin gall day to go to work . Unfortunately the girl I like couldn't hang out for very long. Although we're supposed to be going to go to lunch on Tuesday, some Indian food, yum.
It's entertaining. Definitely not the nicest looking game I've played, though. Probably has the worst in-game graphics of anything I've played for the PS3 so far. But the story is funny, the battles are enjoyable (turn based RPG but not quite), and it's not overly difficult. Yet, anyways.

Good luck with the girl, by the way. I'm a wee bit jealous right now... prospects have been looking pretty slim for me lately. Just be careful with what kind of Indian food you get, though...

It looks okay from what I've seen, nothing too spectacular, but I'd probably enjoy it. The story seems kinda interesting, with it's funny take on the "console wars".

Thanks, I need all the luck I can get after my last relationship. This Indian place is tried and true, been there many times.

Also going to hang out with my sister tomorrow, which is a very rare occasion. Although I'm trying to be a good brother and make it not so rare. We're going to go to this sushi place that she likes. Love me some good sushi.

Should note, though, that it's a PS3 exclusive. Not sure if you have a jailbroken PS3 or not...

If you're not looking for an overly serious storyline and just want to play something that's willing to break the 4th wall and laugh at itself and the industry it's in, then you'll enjoy it. So far there has been a reference to Sonic ("I don't need to start collecting gold rings, do I...?"), Mario ("You mean we have to cross a bridge into nothing? Like a tunnel or something?" "Well, yeah. Want me to grab you some coveralls and a red hat?"), Street Fighter ("Wow, she has huge thighs." "I've never seen a sumo wrestler before."), Tetris (... I can't remember the quote, but they talked about "but there's a slender space on the side. Everything will be all wobbly. Oh, look, they have a nice long one... hey, it fits perfectly!"), and many references to games in general. ("What does the boy look like?" "He's a black silhouette like any other NPC.")

It's been good for a few chuckles.

And yeah, from the sounds of your last relationship, you need a break from crazy bitches. I thought mine was bad, but I think you've got me beat... I didn't marry my crazy bitch.

    Elk burger or bust.

... I miss my childhood. So much good meat, so little time.
Although I think I have some deer sausage in my freezer. Should thaw some of that for dinner tomorrow night.

Checking it out on Bitgamer. It's only 3.11 GB, I should definitely snag it.

Sounds like a game I might like then. A definite change of pace from all those games that take themselves too seriously. I don't want a message, what is this a fable? I wanna kill stuff and laugh while doing it.

Yeah, really don't want a repeat of that relationship, luckily I haven't talked to her in over a year. I've known this girl for a while, funny thing is my EX knew her too, used to go to HS with her, totally hated her. The first thing that girl says to me when I tell her I was married and with whom. The first thing she says to me, "Ooh, she hates me!". I was like yep she hates everyone.

Elk is really good, I've also had moose which is also pretty good.

Really want to try ostrich or kangaroo burgers personally.

You lucky son of a bitch.

I really want to grab a jailbroken PS3. At the same time, I'm liking how my collection of games is looking right now, and I also like my trophy hunting. So I probably will never do it.

Nice to dream, though. I've never modded one of my consoles, to be perfectly honest. I'm sure it would save me a shit ton of money, but I just never get around to it.

I would definitely say give it a shot, then.

Your ex sounds like a real winner. I've gone on dates with a couple of girls who knew my ex, and it always creates this kind of awkward scenario for a little bit. 'cause I don't want to be the guy that bad-mouths his ex, but I don't want to sing her praises, either. I went out with a girl (while she was still with her boyfriend ) whose boyfriend (and father of one of her kids) knew my ex. Not only that, but her boyfriend's father was best friends with my ex's father. I had actually met him before when I used to live with my ex's parents. I met her daughter over two years before I met her.

    Creepy relations are creepy.

I was raised on deer, moose, and elk meat. I think we had bear a couple of times as well, I just don't recall a specific situation. Game meat is the only good meat, in my opinion. Especially in grinds or sausages.

I have a 40GB that needs reflowing that is jailbreakable. Going to be really concentrating on fixing those console during my 3-day weekend. Now that I have some real free-time.

Yeah, she was, but I loved her the all the same. Love is blind...and deaf...and stupid. She pretty much drove away every last mutual friend that we had because of her attitude. Hell, I'm just lucky she doesn't come around here anymore. I didn't have a place to call my own while I was with her.

Creepy relationships are definitely creepy. Although I never had one so "six degrees of separation-like" as you.

This town is a small town with big town dreams. Everyone knows everyone around here. That's probably why I never go out, always afraid I'll run into someone I don't want to talk to. I just end up being my usual hermit-like self and hanging out here.

I need to take the hunter's ed course, then all I'll need is 5-round magazines for my rifle. Then I can bag myself a deer and have meat for months.

It's definitely a cheapish way to get a shit-ton of meat. Costs a fair bit up front (not sure how much a shop charges up there for splitting down an animal, but the norm around here is $0.40-$0.50/lb) but then you'll be set for a long time. And if you get all the different steaks and roasts as well, you can experiment a little bit with your meals and have a bit of variety.

Unless you know someone who knows how to do it. In that case, it'll probably only cost you a flat of beer.

Yeah, that was a messed up relationship. And I'm kind of in the same boat as you... the town I live in isn't exactly small, but it's not huge either (probably around 80,000 people, give or take). But her and her family have lived here all their lives, so they know a lot of people. One of the reasons I don't go out too much, either... that and I'm cheap and like to stay at home and play video games, hang out on EP, and lament how boring my life is.

Luckily I have a couple buddies that would butcher it for me. I just need to get off my lazy ass and take the course. It's a one week course, and once you do it you never have to take it again. I have plenty of ammo sitting around with no real purpose, except to go plinking now and again.

I'm just usually too lazy to go out, unless there's something really cool to do or one of my friends drags me out. Last time I went out was for the Skrillex concert, which was well worth going out for. Besides going to work, going to sushi tomorrow will be the first time going out in weeks. It should be fine though, food is one of the few things I'll go out for.
