Life When Resting?

When we die we are supposed to R.I.P (rest in peace)
What do you all think happens to our lives? (dont say heaven/hell) do we go into a new life form with 24/7 amnesia?
Or do we go into a life of a animal? or do we just dream 24/7?
What do you think happens?

lol, sometimes I even think this to myself. I think, if we die, you go back to being as another human, either a girl or boy. But not as like you can remember your past life! Just like, well, being alive. GOD IT'S HARD TO EXPLAIN YA KNOW!

Besides the above and a few other things, which is a choice in how you feel toward religion, nothing happens. Your brain makes you dream, and when you're dead the brain is gone.
There is nothing more to it than that. You either believe in a religion or you don't.
And by the way, you including the animal option is silly, that's a religous belief too.

You summed up my thoughts exactly. While I see beneficial things in the beliefs of many of the major religions that I'll take to heart in an attempt to better myself I refuse to fully commit myself to any of them, thus come to the conclusion that, yes, we are worm food when we die...

i try not to think of it. i believe in my religion (and afterlife and such) but i try tp think of it like there is no after life. like it doesnt exist. i try to live my life, not waste it thinking of the after life. if there is somesort of afterlife, i will find out when i die. if there's none, then at least i didnt waste anytime tryi ng to find out...

The perfect afterlife would not be life, essentially. "Heaven" is where everything is good and there are no problems, there is peace and tranquility... all things are equal. This to me means the end of sentience, as I personally cannot exist without strife and pain.
