Also, diagnosing fictional characters is fun.

So much survivor guilt in comics. So much.

I had to go all the way back for Nerd, then go all the way back again for Perfect Crime. And maybe one other one, I can't remember.

In hindsight, if I had been planning better I could have reduced that down to one additional playthrough. But I'm an idiot, and therefore carrot sticks.

Oh, how goes the CS platinum attempt, Ray? Have you succeeded, or put it on hold?

I need about 2-3 more levels and about 9 more challenges.

It's entirely doable at this point.

But fuck it, I'm lazy. And challenge mode is a dick.

    Then there's all of the other stupid things that you have to get right at the very beginning to get other ones. ;___;

By the way... what did you think of the game? You blew through it pretty fast. Either that or my sense of time is fucked up and the post I remember reading the other day took place last week.
You're not crazy. I picked it up Monday. Didn't get to start playing until around midnight Tuesday night, and played until about 5:30 in the morning, when I was pretty much forced to stop by weird audio/graphical glitches. Exchanged the disc around 2:00 earlier this afternoon, and breezed through the rest of it today since I had the day off.

I really enjoyed it, and I'm glad I took the opportunity to pick it up. I probably would have been disappointed if I'd picked it up earlier and paid close to 50 bucks for it, since it didn't take long to get through, but the story is lovely.

You've played Ico, right, Ray? If so, how hard do you think it'd be to beat within 2 hours?

First time through without any serious hints? Pretty hard.

After knowing where to go and what to do? Not that tough. Pretty typical speed run trophy difficulty (which you seem to have no problem with).

Cool. Wonder if it's going to be one I enjoy enough to platinum, though

Also, are the lizards in SotC always located at the save shrines, or are they elsewhere as wel?

Pretty much how I felt about it. I really enjoyed the game, but I wouldn't have paid full price for it. I picked mine up for around $20 (I think it was $24.99 and I had a couple of Superbucks -- don't ask -- and my colleague discount card), and I was more than happy to pay that price. Anything more than $30 and I would have been disappointed.

Still, one of the better titles in my slowly growing collection.

Pretty sure they were located elsewhere. They're often not far from a shrine or some ruins though.

Also, I find it amusing that the game seems to be set in October 2011.

I was a little confused the first time I saw a recent gravestone. I couldn't tell if the game just chose whatever month/year your XMB was set to, or if the game was actually set during this particular month.

    God, lizards and fruits.

Can't wait to find all those again.

The real fun part comes from the Hard Mode time trials.

Oh how you frustrated me so, hard TT. But in the end it was worth it.

Because those weapon unlocks were awesome.
