Nah. I just seem to surround myself with strange people.

When my ex and I first split up, I started "seeing" this girl about four months later. Nothing really happened with it -- we were at different points in our lives and just didn't think it would work out, and that was that. We went our separate ways. About a year later, she found out that I was working with one of her friends and decided to get back in touch with me. A week before she left the province for some work thing. She was gone for a few months, came back for a week (she sent me a text when she was back but we never got together), then she went back out until just last week.

She just sent me a text telling me she was back in town for good and was "reconnecting" with people. She wants to get together for dinner and "catch up."

Which I would understand if we ever slept together -- or really did anything -- when we hung out the last few times. We kissed a couple of times and that was it -- not really the kind of memory you go back on for a booty call.
