SO, I did my research [at least, a bit of it] and found out a few things. Correct me if I'm wrong:

PS3 CFW can be installed usually via usb dongles, BUT Kmeaw CFW can be installed without one.
Current CFW is only for OFW 3.55, and some downgrades are available.
After installed, the CFW needs playloads and a file manager [usually, multiMAN] AND an external HDD.

After all this said, there are some fixers and stuff to help you NOT upgrade the PS3 accidentally thanks to auto-updateable game discs. Even with downgrade still being an option, it's something that would be better if done just ONCE, as a matter of safety, right?

Now, the question is...

The E3flasher, is it really worth the price thanks to dualboot, or is it better to just wait for Kmeaw to release a dualboot CFW based on that Linux Dualboot CFW?
[Dualboot standing for... You can load either a 3.55 CFW or an OFW of your choice]

Another question is about the said playloads. Does it works like the "loaders" from nds Acekard "AKAIO" FW? Are they just a set of files to put in a folder/pendrive that are read by the ps3?
