Is dark souls buggy or something?
Or is your 360 just old?

It's not graphical glitching and stuff? Xenon + Freezing = RRoD

It is a bit buggy, but Ray said he didn't have really any freezing issues when I asked him earlier. Although he's playing the PS3 version. I do know that my 360 is old, though, rocking the launch Xenon.

    It's probably my pile-of-shit-at-the-cusp-of-RROD-360's fault.

It really weird, because it's not even a full freeze technically. The game freezes, but I can press the XBOX button and exit back to FSD just fine.

There's not really any rhyme or reason for the freezing either. Except for the obligatory RROD 360 theory.

If a game is buggy I'd assume the ps3 version would be worse, but maybe I'm wrong

Even Fallout 3 and NV don't seem buggy on 360 to me (well, nothing annoying anyway)......and I don't even get game updates.
But I am using a slim console.

Nah that doesn't sound like a RRoD to me. The whole thing will just lock up repeatedly and graphical glitch out.

I guess I'll chalk it up to my 360 acting up I guess.

I guess some of the game's files could've become corrupt during the initial extraction. Although I made sure to not have any processes running while extracting/FTPing.

Which is what my EXs 360 did shortly after JTAGing it for her. Then it went RROD.

Mine hasn't had the typical RROD signs really at all. Maybe something's wrong with the HDD then...god I sure hope not.

I don't think you can just pop it into your PC and defrag it. It's a proprietary file structure. I could clear the HDD cache, but I really don't think that would do anything.

I'll really know when I finally try this HDD on a different JTAG'd 360.
