I'm just wondering why it's a job and the building manager isn't doing it themselves. I mean, it's something that needs to be done, though I can see where it's difficult for people who inherently tend to empathize with the other party, but it just feels a little impersonal to hire other people to do it in one's stead.
Bringing in a third party keeps the land owner from looking like the bad guy, I guess.
But, I don;t know all of the details of the job yet.
What I'm thinking is that they don't actually serve the eviction notice, but instead they just move all of the stuff out of the house.
You'll get yourself shot at if you do it in certain neighborhoods. If you're just moving furniture, probably not.
Nah, they're still looking like a bad guy; it just makes them look like an impersonal suit rather than another person trying to get by in a real estate bubble pop.
That makes sense. Not everyone has the ability to move on a moment's notice, especially when they can't even make rent.
