    Yeah, for example, SOTN is still beautifully sprited, even to today's standards. As well as some enemies/bosses in FF6. Which are some of the most detailed still sprites I've ever seen on a 16-bit system.

    The NES and SMS had their small share of quality pixel art. It was just mostly at the later stages in the console's lives.
