It's working fine. The problem is when you turn it on after it's been off for a while. If I keep it on the PC, it will never be off, so no problem.
There's no lines or random dots on the screen, and it's set up correctly to display my XP desktop.
So yeah, shit is fixed

Some good news, I finally have all of my repair supplies. Just received my heatgun in the mail yesterday. Woohoo!
If I didn't feel so lazy before having to go to work I would probably start repairing straight away. Right now I think I'm going to wait until this weekend when I have a decent chunk of time. Still, I'm pretty stoked to start repairing consoles.
