Yeah. He plays a paranormal skeptic or something like that. Pretty sure it also has Samuel L. Jackson. I don't think I ever finished it either, though... or perhaps I fell asleep. I can't remember. Might have also been one of those movies that I rent, watched a bit of with my ex, and shut it off because she hated it.

Believe me, there were a lot of those.

As for the rest of Kouen's list, the only one on there that I've seen is Be Kind, Rewind. And it's... okay. Nothing that fantastic, and felt really disjointed

Level 239 with plenty of renowned heros souls left over... And I have to go into NG++ since I neglected to save (or kill) Ostrava....

So yeah, it seems like they got the worst of both worlds from the open world and linearity.

It's as confusing as an open world, but there's as little choice once you're in the levels as there would be in a completely linear game.

Well, as long as you're not in the middle.

    Spoiler warning:

My roommate just got home and told me his mom died. Something about a pulmonary embolism. She was a really nice lady.

He's an author who writes about all the great haunted hotels and such that you can stay at in the US, but he's a skeptic. Doesn't actually believe any of what he writes. Samuel L. Jackson is the hotel manager at the hotel where the movie is set. It was a pretty interesting movie. I wouldn't say scary, or even suspenseful really. But it was interesting. Granted, I haven't watched it in several months, so I could be misremembering the suspense level. Mostly I recall getting to one point and saying "WHAT A TWIST!"

That sucks, man. Wish him well from us. If that doesn't sound creepy at all.

He has two younger siblings too. 17 and 14, who knows what's going to be done with them. It's just crazy. It really makes me want to call my mom and dad right now to tell them that I love them.

Okay. I seriously need to go and get some sleep now. Got a long ass day of... visiting family and whatnot, I guess.

    Fucking holiday weekends.

Not really, he just got out of jail recently. Was staying with her and the two kids, basically freeloading. Three weeks ago he went back to his old ways (meth) and took off. Not exactly the best role-model.

... yeah, keep him away from those kids.

Here's hoping everything works out for them. In the meantime, best of luck to them. Seriously. That's a hard thing to deal with at any age, let alone in your teenage years when you don't know what could happen next.

Okay, seriously going to bed now. Night all.
