Seriously. I mean with Steam and PSN/XBL you at least have your purchases on a hard drive. It's not ideal but you're still able to play them if they suddenly shut the online services down or your connection dies. With OnLive you're fucked because you literally cannot play your games unless you're connected to their service. That's why everything has to be so cheap on there.
If the games are on sale for dirt cheap that's fine, but I don't know who would pay the same price as a physical copy. Netflix and other VOD streaming services are so successful because you can pay a subscription fee and watch as much you want. If Onlive did something similar I could see them being really successful, but not with the payment model they currently have in place. I don't think it'll last.
