That seems to work best for me, although sometimes I feel like I would prefer being awake at night. But I worked third shift at a chicken processing plant for a while and it really sucked as I could not sleep during the day. Still, though, the night makes me feel more alive. I was even like that as a kid; like the sun was a drain on my energy.

Wake up at 7, instantly fall back asleep, wake up again at 8:15, roll out of bed, fall into something resembling adequate clothing, pour tea down throat, shovel cereal into mouth, grab dog, stumble out of door and into car, arrive at vet's at 9:15, see vet at 9:30, leave at 9:40, walk dog on country lanes, drop him back home, go shopping, return home around 11:50, eat bagel, post on internet.
