So any thoughts on Dragon's Dogma?

I think it definitely looks interesting, but don't know how it will hold up in comparison to Skyrim. I find the creatures impressive though.

I've got a fallout question here. I've done 3 and New Vegas and was wondering about 1 and or 2. What were the older ones like? I think I'd like to try them out. Is it worth it after playing the newer ones?
    Any info/opinions would be great!!!!

Hrm. Magicka collection is 75% off today on Steam. Main game+all 9 DLCs (not counting yesterday's 3 new robes DLC) for $6.24.

EDIT: Correction, deal lasts until 10 AM PST today. So that's... 11-ish more hours. Don't think about that too hard.

Kinda looks like diablo graphically, Can't really say any more than to check out some vids on youtube to see what you think. A friend of mine plays part 2 even after playing through part 3.

So, Dark Souls' street date was broken for the Japanese release. Rather than complain or ask that vendors stop and obey street dates, FromSoftware decided to solve it the Dark Souls way...by going to everyone who broke street date and repeatedly murdering their characters.

    Link.

Glarblargarbler. I just spent a little over two hours in the Survival Dungeon in Chantelise. Then I got to the 44th floor, and got down to about 50 health. I'm like "Oh yeah, I'll be fine. I can just toss on the Darkness Crystal and life leech back up to full in two hits." So I put on said crystal, then charged up to swing at a nice, slow-moving skeleton... and got hit by the floaty eye's eyebeam for 67. There were definitely expletives shouted. But hey, maybe I won't run into the waterways three times on my way down next time.

So I got myself one of those joystick pads. It works alright. Kinda fun to play mame like its an actual arcade. Still though can't wait until I have the money to build myself a mame cabinet.

I never played the original game, but that trailer is at least interesting.

The original Darkness is fantastic and it's so cheap these days. I highly recommend it. It's one of my favourite games, ever. And Darkness II is shaping up to be fantastic as well.
