I haven't looked at the sales for ME2 for PS3, but I would be surprised if the sales of it were great, considering they were competing with themselves on multiple consoles.
Sold over 3 times what the PC version did, despite being out a fraction of the time. But then again, PC GAMING IS DEAD and all that.

    Your analogies need serious work.

Otherwise, you really need to get your ADD prescription refilled. Possibly some viagra too.

Alternatively, just come out of the closet already.

If someone loves the series that much, I could see buying it, but sitting from a neutral standpoint, it doesn't make a lot of sense.

It still seems like they dug their own hole on sales for the game on the PS3 by doing a late release on another console and pricing the game at full price, they could have dropped the price in the $40 range and probably done a lot better with it on the PS3. The only person that might have appealed to is a PS3 owner who didn't have a 360, or a PC capable of running ME2.

Lawl. My analogies make perfect sense.
The idea of it is the bigger "girls" or machines in this case, with a few extra features is a better choice.
Pretty girls just talk a lot of shit and require way more attention for me I guess. Totally not worth it. If you know what I mean lol

    Tales of Vesperia
    *buys a 360*

Haha, seriously though, I did end up going with the 360. the system alone cost me $150, plus another $20 for a 20GB hard drive. Currently have four games, but only one that I actually wanted, which is Left 4 Dead GotY Edition. Other ones are Lost Planet one and two and Power Gig: Rise of the Sixstring. Power Gig is suckage. All of the controllers were unresponsive, and the game doesn't actually teach you how to play guitar or anything. All it has is this "power chord" mode. It was a real letdown as a guy who actually plays guitar.

Lost Planet looks boring and tedious, the guys just runs around SLOWLY shooting at things he has no chance at killing. Plus you have some kind of thermal energy time limit going on all the time.

The reason why I went with 360:
All of the games that I saw for PS3 that interested me were, for the most part, also for the 360.
360 costs less. Got is for around $170 in all.

That's about it, but it was mostly about the games, of course. Talkin' bout L4D and the above quote, for example. That one and L4D2 are next up on my list. How does Vesperia compare to Symphonia: DoaNW? I've only really played the two Symphonia games and the fan translation of Innocence, which I found a bit dull and tough...

More good news. My brother had an old Wii with a broken disk drive. I managed to mod it with Bannerbomb and it can now play games off of the USB Loader. my 16GB USB thumb drive is already full though... with SSBB and Metroid: Other M. Both incredible games, though... Don't wanna remove either one. XD

No plans to mod my new 360 anytime soon, I wouldn't even know how to as of now. Also no plans to get Xbox LIVE. I'm not someone who can spend that kinda money.

@Wolf: You're talking about the HOT girls. The ones who KNOW they're hot. I know what you mean there. Haha.

I have a 360, and the DVD drive is dying. It also runs a little warm sometimes, but only with a few games.

My friend has a PS3, and it's pretty good. No overheating problems at all.

BUT the 360 itself feels a lot more durable than the PS3, as do it's controllers. The PS3 has very flimsy feeling controllers, and a very flimsy feeling case. Then again, Sony's always had that. (PS1 was obviously less durable than the Saturn, PS2 wasn't as strong as Dreamcast OR Gamecube)

This is only semi-relevant to the topic at hand, but since I saw it mentioned somewhere above, I thought I'd mention that the PS3 version of Vesperia is actually getting fan translated over here.

PS3 i think is better than XBox 360 but thats just my opinion... anyway PSP is great... now days you can hack it 100% whit no brick... good games like Persona 3 , YS series , and good old PS1 titels can be played on a hacked PSP... online games are losing at this point so you cant really enjoy them... but theres always Xlink Kai (play games online via USB - PC)... but anyway thats just still my opinion...

i own a ps3 and a 360. i like both of the systems equally but i would have to give my vote to the ps3. i have an 80 gig backwards compatible ps3 that plays ps1 and ps2 games. i like the ps3's no pay online service which is one of the reasons that i got it. my 360 account is expiring this november and i cant keep affording the 50-60 dollars for a yr thing. i think some of the games for the ps3 are can be very cheap if you know where to look. the controllers are also well constructed. all in all go for a ps3. some good adventure games i have played that i would reccomend are the uncharted series. any ways that is my opinion, so good luck choosing.

    Cool story bro.

This thread already served it's purpose, the OP bought his console, not needed anymore.
