No information will be sent to my pc, therefore I wont be downloading anything, like tass said, yo dont just clocked for downloads between isp's, being online at all uses it.

Yeah but Inferno has a point, it really won't make much of a difference, uploads don't really add up unless you frequently upload files.

Very little bandwidth would be used just leaving it connected to the internet, doing nothing.

Just checked my router under the stats page, since it was turned on today at about 8 or 9 I received 621mb and sent 18mb, not that much.

So my mother switches us to vodafone broadband from eircom. I was filled with dread, the stats:

Eircom Speed 3Mb, limit (thought it was unlimited but apparently its): 30Gb.

Vodafone Speed 8Mb Limit: 40Gb.

Despite this, I;m still worried this is gonna go horribly wrong.

Meanwhile, in Americaland people bleat about how unfair their new 200GB monthly usage limits are. Fuckers.

I used to religiously check the limit with Eircom cause it was easy but I never even checked the limit with vodafone.

BTW UPC are better than both of them and have a generous 20meg package with a 250 gig limit that I think is about the same price as the other two.

I never even realised there was a limit with eircom, but that was 30gb, and we never went over, so 40 shouldn't be a problem.

I was under the limit for all of my time with Eircom except for once.

and I don't drink and drive.
