Just to let you know I made that switch last year and despite having an area wide connection drop Vodafone have been quite good however, you get charged on total data transfers and not just downloads with both ISPs, just saying in case you didn't know.So my mother switches us to vodafone broadband from eircom. I was filled with dread, the stats:
Eircom Speed 3Mb, limit (thought it was unlimited but apparently its): 30Gb.
Vodafone Speed 8Mb Limit: 40Gb.
Despite this, I;m still worried this is gonna go horribly wrong.

No information will be sent to my pc, therefore I wont be downloading anything, like tass said, yo dont just clocked for downloads between isp's, being online at all uses it.Does that even make a single bit of difference?
