I can get really impatient because I want to get it over and done with as quickly as possible. Sometimes it feels like the other people are in a slower dimension than I am, and I start feeling anxious. Until recently I would have to leave before getting everything I needed, but lately I've tried to slow down and "enjoy" being in the store. It actually is helping.

The gas station is, and technically I guess the grocery store is about a fifteen minute walk away, but in the snow it would be more like thirty, and like hell am I doing that. I'm getting better with money; I used to be addicted to eBay, but I didn't really appreciate anything I bought. Lately I've been fixing up what I have. The thrill of ordering something new seems to have a much higher price if it isn't even useful or practical. I was a spoiled child and I'm still reprogramming myself after being indoctrinated with a false sense of entitlement as a child. I was kind of a monster in that respect.
