Kinda. Hangover = dehydration + toxic byproducts of ethanol/methanol conversion. Take in electrolytes and water to treat the hangover, and tough out the acetaldehyde since the body can't get rid of it until it's converted to relatively harmless acetic acid in either case. The old "cure hangovers with alcohol" trick also helps if the original alcohol that caused the hangover wasn't distilled properly, by suppressing the metabolism of the methanol that wasn't filtered out; instead, the body metabolizes the extra ethanol first...which kinda just delays the hangover, if you think about it.
