SHIT, I just read online they are shooting a scene for game of thrones in the north of Ireland and to get casted you need to be able to grow a beard.
Just got the Alien anthology on blu-ray.
This is incredible.
I only saw the first two Alien films last year and didn't enjoy the second as much as I should have. :/
Really? I like the second one more or less as much as the first. It's a very different sort of film from the first, but I thought it was loads of fun~! Was never that keen on 3 or Resurrection, mind. Though my older brother said that 3 was savaged for cinema release, and that the director's cut is actually rather good.

Did you like the first one? That's my favourite of the series and really the only one I find creepy.
Aliens is great but it's more of an action movie. I don't find it all that scary to be honest.
Alien 3 divides people because it's kind of an oddball within the series since it's neither action packed nor particularly scary. It was directed by David (Fight Club) Fincher and is more psychological than the other films. The entire thing is very ominous and disturbing in an "Oh shit, we're all completely fucked no matter what we do" kind of way. It starts on a down note, ends on a down note and horrible things happen in between. You either love it or hate it. And if you do hate it, you might always grow to love it later, as I did. Especially if you watch the extended cut.
Resurrection is nowhere near as horrible as people make out but it's by far the worst of the original series and is very much a typical late 90s sci-fi movie. Joss Whedon wrote the original screenplay, so that may either be a good or a bad thing depending on your tastes and what you expect from an Alien movie.
I hope my copy of Resident Evil 3 has been dispatched.![]()
Aliens was also directed by the same guy who did Terminator 2 that could also have a hand on why it was so action packed.
Me I loved the 2nd the most then the first didn't care much for the last 2 although its been a while
