There is a lot of poison ivy medicine. Unfortunately, none of them really do anything but mask the itch for a little while. Nothing will make it go away faster.

Yeah, it really is. I guess I should be getting used to it though, since this is the 3rd time I've had it this year.

on a similar note i discovered i was a dumb ass... i had been getting a elergic reaction on my left hand like once a weekish for like a year it took me that long to work out it was the plastic strap of the watch i bought a year ago im not sure how i didnt figure it out till like 2 weeks ago, so i had to put that casio away and gone back to (well i prefered it anyways) my Casio Edifice with its steel strap.

but ya you live near poison ivy or something? maybe you should really consider some gardeners gloves or something... there a pain and sweaty but sounds better than having a baloon for a hand every month or what nots

I don't get poison ivy. Ever. Once walked through a shit ton of if wearing shorts and a tee shirt. This happened during conservation class back in HS. One kid got it so bad he was hospitalized. :/

My job requires me to occasionally get into a lot of weeds and such. I really do need to invest in a pair of gardening gloves, although I get poison ivy so easily, I don't know if they would help much.

    Can't hurt, I suppose

Also, I am now torn between when I should take my vacation to California. I was originally planning on taking the week before I go back to cutting school (mid-February). However, I was just looking at the 2011-2012 game schedule for the Edmonton Oilers ( ), and they play the L.A. Kings on March 30th, which is the week after cutting school is finished. However, it's probably going to be spring break for a bunch of people, which means a bunch of the touristy stuff that I wanted to do will probably be a nightmare.

    DECISIONS!
