I have no idea. I would think they would note each entry, and weed out the duplicates...but that's just how I would do it.
I think in our last contest, MasJ has some randomizer thingamajig that pulled random entries out of a spreadsheet of all the entries. They may be doing that, so multiple entries might help![]()
It doesn't really seem to have any verification method, except maybe IP address, but then there's still proxies... Not that I plan on making duplicate entries or anything. I was just rather curious.
On here though, you have to have accounts, which is a major deterrent to that. Also, I love the contests on here(R4i ftw)
EDIT: Also, for some reason, "thingamajig" (oddly enough FF doesn't flag that as a spelling error) reminded me: My brother managed to fry our 360. So I never got to finish Banjo Kazooie :'(
I sleepy. Goodnight.

"Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams Platform: PC
Silent Hill 2: Director's Cut Platform: PC"
Wait, I thought Restless Dreams was the Xbox and PC port that essentially was the DC version... Am I missing something here (different regions (doesn't seem to have any details other than "English"...)? Or I've heard bad info, perhaps?)?

Hmm, just had a quick look on gamefags.
It lists "Silent Hill 2" as the US PC release, and "Silent Hill 2: Director's Cut" as the EUR PC version.
Spoiler warning:
Maybe somebody just decided to take the Xbox title of "Restless Dreams" and put it on the standard PC version![]()
Then again, the version listed as the DC version says it's on 1 DVD and the other says 3 CDs.... And I finally found dates on the things. DC says 2001, RD says 2002![]()
http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/561577-silent-hill-2/data
DC (EUR) is listed as 2003 there
I've seen conflicting info about titles/release dates before, it doesn't really bother me until people start posting dates in thread titles(unless the year is part of the actual game title, that's ok of course).
Spoiler warning:
