Speaking of the second, have they announced a US release date for the HD Collection (I never played 3 and want to replay 2, even if there are legal issues causing different VAs to be in it)? The only thing I've seen is an EU release date for 9-20.

When'd it become, "Early 2012"? I always saw "September/October," when I looked (but not a specific date, which is what I meant earlier ).

People tend to think that means late 2011.

However, they're talking fiscal year.

So that can be anytime between November/December and April.

And even the news stories I saw of them deciding to release it on 360 as well (announced three days ago), they repeat, "September/October."

Perhaps it has. Here's the fact sheet (where everywhere I saw seems to be getting the September/October release from) from relyonhorror. Though (from what I read) Konami wants to release both PS3 and 360 at the same time, so it could be pushed back

Rather than the new VAs, though, I'm more disappointed that 4 isn't included

I'd have settled for an HD port up of SM or Origins myself. Well there's always the PC version of 4. And 3. And 2. Because fuck rebuying games for a slight resolution boost.

(Come to think of it, the only one I'd be rebuying is 2..... and even if I wanted to play the PS2 version (if mine wasn't messed up ) I'd have to do that since it was stolen along with the first PS2 we had (and so many other games...) about 8 years ago....)

Why would I do that? I haven't bought a single HD collection and even if I did start trophy whoring I wouldn't start with those.

My PS2 is fine and this PS3 is BC and allows for upscaling and smoothing. I automatically win forever anyway.
