Ah, I need it for all the beat em ups and bullet hells. Wish they'd hurry up and get that Star Wars Trilogy game working though, I've always wanted to play that one.
I find when you've always wanted to play a game, when you finally do... You'll be very disappointed.
The last SNES I had about 10 years ago had Theme Park, Alien 3, Starwing, Super Swiv and a couple of other crappy games. I didn't keep it long as since I didn't have the internet I had no idea where to get games from.
Alien 3 was surprisingly good on the SNES, I always liked that one. It was like Metroid lite.
All this SNES talk is making me want to stick the big ass emulator disc into the XBOX and play some SNES.
360 controller into 27" iMac = happy Cosmic and SNES games at 2560x1440. I don't know HOW it doesn't look like ass at that resolution, but I'm grateful it doesn't.

I have to make do with shitty XBOX through component on my 32" LCD with an original XBOX controller.
But my XBOX controller is an ass third party one with a shitty D-Pad.

You can see the pixels on the native res., it doesn't make much difference to increase the size.

I'm used to emulators on this screen now, it's just like playing it on a nice TV and it's better than using the Wii controller. I can get rid of my consoles quite happily.
