Forgotten video games that deserves another sequel/prequel?

Now that we've talked about them, are these games still forgotten?

Seriously, tho, somebody tell Kojima we need an updated version of "Snatcher". Uncensored like the MSX version, all chapters like the Sega CD version, with modern graphics... perhaps with an over-the-shoulder FPS feel to it.

Sunset Raiders 2. Replayed it with a friend a few nights ago, and man, a sequel with fun gunplay would be awesome.

I think they should do a re-make of the Hoenn Region in Pokemon.

And if you ask me, they should make a Pokemon game where you can go from Region to Region. Kinda like Ash. But better.

Also, they should have a game with the Orange Islands in it, never seen it before in the series.

It has a remake on the DS.....and it's sequel on the PS1 was trash in comparision. No relation to the original AT ALL

Come on now, there were tie-ins for most major character and places ! Seriously though, I understand what you mean. I personally liked CC, though not (quite) as much as CT. Would be nice to see a more direct sequel, or better yet, even something to fill in the blanks between the two.

Anyway:

A true Xenogears prequel.
The Mana series is due for a real title, not some budget hand-held game. Hell, I'd settle for an NA remake of Seiken Densetsu III. Best game in the series IMO.

1. Sonic Adventure 3 on console, Sonic started sucking after the Sonic Adventure series was over, so I think that maybe, another Sonic Adventure game might bring back the awesomeness of Sonic.
2. Chrono Trigger 2 on console, WTF was Chrono Cross? That game pissed me off, not even kidding. I want Magus, Chrono, Frog, and time-traveling back. The time traveling was what made Chrono Trigger so awesome in the first place IMO.
3. Mega Man Legends 3 needs to be put on console, I'm not paying $300 for a 3DS when, in my exp. handhelds only have good games come out for the first few years, and then it's 90% crap afterwards. Waste of money

shadow of the ninja for NES. they could do a remake of that similar to bionic commando re-armed. it was a great game

While Shadow of the Ninja was enjoyable, it was massively overshadowed by Ninja Gaiden, which it was a pretty blatant ripoff of. I still wouldn't mind seeing a new Shadow of the Ninja game, as that was one of the hidden gems that I discovered while collecting, but it just wasn't a popular enough title to really warrant it. (For those European users, the PAL version was called Blue Shadow). In fact, Tecmo acquired the rights to Shadow of the Ninja while they were working on a port for Shadow of the Ninja for the Game Boy, and the team working on it "remade" the game as Ninja Gaiden Shadow (Shadow Warriors in Europe). So the likelihood of ever seeing a Shadow of the Ninja sequel is... highly unlikely.
