I just beat Portal 2!
Xenogears. I started playing one afternoon with the intention of finishing it by the evening. Then Disc 2 happened. It was suddenly midnight and I was still not done.

Seriously though, this was somewhat of a rollercoaster ride that had its ups and downs. I started it, liked it a lot, then it started becoming really boring, then it got interesting again, then some more frustrating dungeon crawling with a tedious battle system, then some interesting things happen again and I like the game again, then it's endless hours of talking, then it picks up again, and so on. Also, I'm not exactly sure what the plot of this game was? After lots of technobabble, wave existence, fourth dimension bullshit and other stuff I kinda just lost track of everything. It felt like one confusing mess.
I feel very stupid now.![]()
Alpha Protocol. It was shit. Broken stealth, shooting, bosses, cover system, the works.
Just finish Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons Of Liberty,Solidus Snake couldnt stand up to my awesome Katana skills .......Now its time for MGS 3 Snake Eater..
All in 1
Chrono cross.![]()
Finished Borderlands with all DLC. I thought it was better than any of the fallout games.
I know exactly which part you are talking about, just a bunch of pointless talking and scenes for about 45 minutes straight. Overall I think that is one of the best PS1 RPGs. And I was able to understand the story pretty well. The first time I played that game it took me around 80 hours to beat it and do everything, max levels, gear parts, best weapons etc. Be kinda rough trying do beat that game in one day, but I'm sure someone could do it in 30 hours or so.
I don't know if you played the game on an emulator or not, but I would often turn the frame skip up to get past some of the tedious parts in games quicker, especially RPGs.

Yeah, I think I got some of the story, but it sure was confusing at first. Well, maybe that's just me.
And yeah, I played it on an emulator, so I did speed up the game on several occasions. That, along with save states, pretty much helped me not lose my sanity during some of the more tedious parts.
Once you figure out how much damage you could deal in a gear with the ether skills it really saved you from running out of fuel in those large dungeons, especially the final one. Instead of being like, damn I'm out of gas and I'm not even halfway done with this place yet.....
Fatal Frame IV beaten! It was a fun ride. Not as scary as the previous games (just as Gare said) but it was still a very intense experience. The room with the coffin scared the shit outta me!
So Gare, you figured out the storyline? I'm really confused about several things. Like why did people get the luna sedata syndrome and why did the ritual fail? I don't remember the story being so hard to puzzle together in the previous games... >__>
EDIT: About Xenogears... you really should read the translated info from Perfect Works. Will answer many questions.![]()
Congrats!
The coffin room... is that the place where, if you look at mannequin in first-person camera mode, she turns her eyes at you in a creepy fashion? I remember something like that. I think I might've jumped at that part.
Anyway, it's been several months since I played the game, and now I'm really having a hard time recalling the details.I looked it up, though, and came across this:

The relevant part is at the bottom, under "Disaster". People's souls would leave their bodies during the ritual, but since it failed, the souls didn't properly return to their bodies, causing the state known as Luna Sedata. Take a look at Sakuya's Wiki page, as well as the page for the Lunda Sedata (Getsuyuu) Syndrome, might answer a few questions. It did help me refresh my memory a bit.
Yeah, I heard about that. Might have look it up.
